Interesting news story on T.V. the other evening. Workmen cutting down old Jacaranda trees that were a public danger in one of our parks,( forget which one) , could have been New Farm Park. I'm sure someone will remember, but they ceased work on one tree because an owl was nesting in it. Now that illustrates the point I've been making for the past months. What happens when its finished nesting?...presumably the tree comes down...but you can bet no alternative hollow is made available. Wouldn't it be nice to see one installed?
